Based on latest rumors via a new source of CR.com website, Canon will not announce its 6D Mark II camera until the shipping of 5D Mark IV begins and the expected time frame of Canon 5D Mark IV to hit retail stores is Jan 2016, so as usual the 6D successor will arrive on Q1 of 2016. For me counts the IQ at base ISO in combination with a high resolution.
I don’t need the latest functions, the video section or ISO’s over ISO 1600/3200.
The 5DsR has some Cons, but after ten month using two bodys I am very happy with the results. The IQ don’t reach the IQ of my 60/80/200 megapixel mid format cameras, but the price is cheap, there are a lot of lenses, the weight is not so high and the size is compared to mid format small.
