Finally, we have the white version of the DJI Pocket 4 Pro camera, which was quite an unexpected move from DJI. Before the Pocket 4 series, Pocket gimbal cameras were generally available in black, with no additional body colour options. This is the first time we are seeing the Pocket 4/Pocket 4 Pro available in white.
While most of the early coverage has focused on the standard black model, the white edition has a clean, almost premium feel. The body, gimbal, and controls are finished in a soft creamy white with red accents on the record button. It stands out in a good way — less “tech gadget” and more like something you’d actually enjoy carrying around.
That said, it does show fingerprints and dust, scratches and more… easily than the black version, which is something to keep in mind if you’re rough with your gear.

The Real Upgrade: Dual Cameras + 3x Optical Zoom
The biggest reason to consider the Pocket 4 Pro over the regular Pocket 4 is the hardware. This version comes with a dual-camera setup – a 1-inch main sensor paired with a dedicated 3x optical telephoto lens.
For anyone who shoots interviews, talking-head videos, or wants that nice background compression without losing quality, the optical zoom makes a noticeable difference. The dynamic range is also improved (up to 17 stops with D-Log 2), which gives you more flexibility when grading footage later.
The Big Problem for US Buyers
We all know that DJI is facing some unexpected hurdles. So, here’s the part that actually matters most if you’re in the United States:
As of June 2026, the DJI Pocket 4 Pro is still not officially available in the US.
DJI Pocket 4 and 4P received FCC approval (before Dec 25), but later, it seems that the last-minute FCC approvals have been revoked. And DJI also issued relevant statement related to it,
DJI’s most repeated and current official statement regarding the Osmo Pocket 4 and Pocket 4 Pro is:
“The Osmo Pocket 4 will not be available in the U.S. market at launch due to pending FCC authorisation.”
This statement has been quoted by media outlets (including The Verge) and remains unchanged as of June 2026.
So you won’t find it at B&H, Adorama, or on Amazon US through official channels. The only way to get one right now is through grey market sellers – usually imported from Europe or Asia.
This means:
- No official US warranty
- Limited or no customer support from DJI
- You’re taking on some risk with the purchase
But wait, there is a hope. We have the Xtra Muse 2 PRO Coming Soon, and it almost features the same core specs and body design as the pocket 4 PRO, which will soon become available in the USA just after the pocket 4 PRO announcement.
So… Should You Buy the White Pocket 4 Pro?
It depends on what you need. If you really want the 3x optical zoom and better dynamic range for more cinematic or interview-style work, with a dual camera setup. Either you can wait for Xtra Muse 2 pro, or you can wait for Luna Ultra from Insta360. As per the initial report, we have the Xtramuse 2 PRO uses almost the same hardware configuration as the DJI Pocket 4 PRO, with a slightly different design and position of the display. Other than that, it also supports the DJI ECO System.
And finally, if you’re okay with buying grey market, then the white Pocket 4 Pro is genuinely nice. The color gives it a fresh look that feels different from most other pocket cameras out there.

This version feels more natural and readable while still delivering the key information US readers care about. Want me to adjust the tone further (more casual or slightly more professional)?
