Why would anyone buy the A7 III nearly 3 years after launching when the IV with these rumored specs may land soon – CES?

  • Daniel S Kuchem

Why? Because they might not have the $$$ and don’t need the improved features. I’m with you though – I’m waiting. I saw the fist signs of retailers clearing inventory – Adorama has an A7III listed with $300 discount.

An expected move would be for them to release at CES. Not knowing CES’ plans around Covid, I suspect they will have much limited attendance if live. So, launching in time for holiday sales would be smart, but that would have to happen really soon.
