In a latest interview published at amateurphotographer UK (see here), managing director Jonathan Martin said GXR sales have been discontinued in the UK, production is also stopped due to its less demand.
Stock Status of Ricoh GXR series (as of Jan, 1 2014)
- Amazon – Only few base units and lenses left at stock
- B&H – No base unit available, only few lenses
- Adorama – item is no longer available.
I personally think that GXR was a excellent concept camera, but it’s sad to here that the production is stopped now.
