Honestly, I would not want a more petite/slim body. I don’t want it to look like the s5. Though my s5ii is better than my s1 in all, mostly due to PDAF, I can tell you that on-set clients are much more impressed with the look of the s1. Especially when partially kitted with French doors and a cage with dohickies attached.

The current S1 body allows more to be packed into the camera. Also, its extra weight is perfect for handheld shots. A smaller body also produces more heat in most cases. I say leave it the same size and use the extra space. If they do slim it down, it will only give the possible coming S1Hii a more professional look if it keeps the original size.

Oh, I also don’t see why you would have an S1ii & S1iix, as it seems to me that it could just be one model that does both like my S1 does both at a professional level. I like the middle ground of the sensor size at 32mp rather than 47mp or 24mp, though I think if there is an S1H, it will have a 48mp stacked sensor with built-in ND BECAUSE IT BIGGER and has more room with the new, more compact components in all cameras since last year.

    HUNCHES –
    > The menu system will be noticeably improved. It’s already good, but Panasonic can’t sleep on those laurels.
    > I also hope for in-body false color you can see on the LCD.
    > I think a better LCD will be on the S1ii also even with it currently being one of the top 3 best LCDs on a camera.
