Canon Working on Animal Face Tracking and Eye AF

 

TNC Exclusive: As we all know Canon is continuously working on too improve the Eye AF tracking of their FF and APS-C sensor based camera. Now only for new cameras, in an recent firmware update they have upscaled the AF performance of the already announced Canon EOS R and Canon EOS RP camera.

We have confirmation that Canon is also working on animal Face tracking and Eye AF. We already have the patents related to that and we will soon update this post with more details.

    Damn is the comatose giant finally waking up. There is definitely a pulse and it’s getting bit stronger.

    Canon as a system is still heads and shoulders above all competition.
    The brilliant move they made over 30 years ago has others still catching up. And in doing so like Nikon have a bunch of goofy incompatible lenses that need a score card to know what works with what.
    Canon though has every EF and EFs lens 100% compatible with the new RF mount. No one else can make a claim even close to that.

    We strongly agree that the panoply of objectives that Canon offers today is UNBEATABLE. There is no discussion possible. Where he limps and very visibly is in the sensors and processors section where the competition surpasses him in every way. I wonder, how is it possible that today, we continue without a CMOS BSI sensor? PATHETIC!.

    Estamos muy de acuerdo que la panoplia de objetivos que ofrece Canon a día de hoy es INSUPERABLE. No hay discusión posible. Donde cojea y muy visiblemente es en el apartado de sensores y procesadores donde la competencia le supera en todos los sentidos. Me pregunto, como es posible que a día de hoy, sigamos sin un sensor CMOS BSI ???.PATETICO!.
