UPDATE – Canon G5X – Pro Compact Camera Finally Announced
Canon G5X image and specification leaked today, the camera looks like a true successor Canon G16. Take a look at the specification of the camera below

- Lens: 8.8-36.8mm F1.8-2.8 (equivalent 24-100mm F1.8-2.8)
- Size: 112mm x 76mm x 44mm
- Weight: 337g
- LCD Monitor: 3 inches. 1.04 million dot
From the specification we can clearly see that it features excellent ultra-bright lens with 4.2X optical zoom and F1.8 to F2.8 aperture range. The Lens also have capability to produce real life macro images (1:1) proportion.

This ‘leaked’ spec has been posted on line regularly since March … still no camera.
