Yes, it’s a breakthrough. According to latest information coming from trusted Japanese website the Canon 200D / SL2 camera is coming with a 24 MP Dual pixel CMOS AF sensor. The sensor is same as of recently announced Rebel cameras. Take a look at the Major specification of the camera below

    How will this match up with the canon M5 mirror less? Have a M3, great camera a little to small for my hands. Hope the sl2 will be the answer to what I’m looking for.

    Wow, DPAF so you can ensure the horrible 1080p video is perfectly focused. Only Pentax has worse video quality than Canon’s FHD, which is more like 700p. Put 4K in this thing and it would be a smash hit, but alas even 6DII won’t get 4K and has to soldier on with horrible 1080p in 2017
