In 2011 Canon won 3 and Nikon 2 TIPA awards, this year Canon won 6 and Nikon 3 only, TIPA award started from 1991 and this year at the TIPA General Assembly 29 member magazines and the Camera Journal Press Club (CJPC) of Japan voted for the best product in each category. The General Assembly selected the best photo and imaging products in 2012 in 40 categories.
The panel selects and acknowledges the outstanding imaging products from the previous 12 month period, and this year awarded prestigious accolades to the following products:
