According to the latest rumors surfaced over the web Sony A7R V may arrive Sooner than expected. The camera was scheduled to arrive in the Q4 of 2021, but now its re-scheduled to at early announcement date with an upscaled video core specification.
Sony A7R V with 8K Video
Sony will be upscaling the video-core specs Sony A7R V to compete against the Canon EOS R5 Mirrorless camera. Sony A7R IV camera was announced back in July 2019 with class-leading core specifications, but it remains limited to 4K video recording capability. It will be very interesting to see how Sony reacts with the Canon EOS R5 camera announcement with 8K video recording capability.
