theverge Wrap-Up of Canon G1 X
if you already own the serious equipment and just want a camera you can toss into a purse or backpack without sacrificing a lot of quality, the G1 X should suit you pretty well………
There’s a lot to get used to about the G1 X, especially with the viewfinder, but I can definitely see this camera being a travel-friendly second camera for a 5D or D4 owner. It’s also compatible with most of Canon’s EOS accessories, so Canon DSLR owners will be able to use speedlite flash attachments and the like with the G1 X. view more at theverge
SonyA600 DSLR (NOT SLT) is coming with proper mirror, optical viewfinder and 18.4 mp APS-C CMOS sensor to replace existing Sony A580 DSLR, the A600 will have a lower price than the Sony A65.

-Larger brighter OVF than the A580 (still penta-mirror, cost savings) at .92x magnification “w/data overlay” @ 97% coverage
-Similar live view system as the A450 (away goes the second sensor and mechanisms that cost extra money), more traditional main sensor live view with faster contrast detect AF than previous Sony DSLRS, this time for all lenses
-updated 18.4 mp APS-C CMOS sensor
-up to 8fps capture with full metering and af capabilities (A580 could do only 5fps with metering/af)
-same battery as A580, A65, A77

-full 1080p HD video will be included (no specifics on this)

-3 custom function buttons
-Updated Quick Navi Menu interface (assume like A65’s which isn’t true quick navi like A900/etc.)
-Dual control wheels, rear is scroll and click type
Its really hard to get a nice and clean shot at busy/ public area, the new android app developed by Scalado removes the unwanted moving objects from your current frame and captures it. Point your camera and take a photo. Afterwards you can remove anyone moving around, or select your friends and remove any strangers.
