 With a New sensor design canon new full-frame DSLR 3D may arrive in 2012, NL also added 5D Mark III will arrive on summer of 2012 with modified version of the upcoming 1Ds Mark IV sensor.

 The future of 5D (series) – Latest Rumor coming form CR(2) that 5D Mark III may split in two parts, One for shooting Still images and other with advanced video features.
‘New Camera take’ 🙂 Well in my view Split is possible with more advance features that also include weather sealing, advance AF, faster fps like current 1D line, from past two years rumor are coming about the amalgamation of the 1D and 1Ds line, So finally we may see two version 5D Mark III and ONE 1Ds Mark V in near future.

 Canon major announcement coming in august 2011, CR said “The 1Ds Mark III replacement and 3 lenses will be announced. No detail into what lenses.”
Nikon confirmed to PDNonline that all upcoming new products will be released as scheduled:
“Nikon is actively working to maximize production during this challenging time. As previously announced, availability of the Nikon COOLPIX S4100 and S6100 in the Americas will not be impacted and sales of these products will only be discontinued in some markets. Nikon Inc currently plans to release new products as scheduled.”src- NR
Canon may announce 1Ds Mark IV in August and Canon 5D Mark III in September as said by NL,
Nikon have said their launch schedule is unaffected and a major Nikon announcement is supposedly due for the end of August.
So, a tentative 1Ds3 replacement in mid August, followed by a D4 at the end of the month, and a 5D mk3 for September? …

 Some of the major camera announcement / release dates (see below), The Sony A77, NEX C3 and New Leica M9-P announcement is almost confirmed, but we have no confirmation about The Canon 5D Mark III release date and it may be delayed.

 Well CR posted a new specification of 5D Mark III and said “It was stressed that below is one prototype, and two others exist.”, I think canon will release It’s 5D Mark III at Aug or Sep 2011,

Rumors About Nikon D800
Nikon D800 announcement delayed due to recent earthquake in japan, now the expected time of announcement is Oct 2011 and Nikon D4 is expected to be announced in early 2012.
Canon new DSLRs also Delayed?
Delay in regards to manufacturing times of new current camera 1D Mark IV – 2-4 Months, 5D Mark II – 1-2 Months and 7D – 1-2 Month, Canon New Product announcement also delayed and the current expected time frames for new cameras.

- 5D Mark III and 7D Mark II – Mid or Late of 2012

 Canon sending its new Canon 5D Mark III to selected photographers for testing, The new Canon 5D Mark III will have 19 point AF, 26 or 28 Megapixel Digic V image processor with more sharpness and detail at higher ISO.
Update about Canon 1D line-up, Canon will soon update its 1D line with 1D mark V
new tech in a merged 1D to keep the 10fps of the 1D and the resolution of the 1Ds. It should be interesting.
