What canon support say about 1Ds Mark IV (thanks to my friend for sending this info) “At this moment there is no information available regarding a new product announcement in this category. Please keep in mind, however, that Canon continuously reviews its product lineup, and as new products are introduced, existing models are often taken out of production. We recommend you check our website.”

 NL Updates
We’ve had a report of video testing being carried out on a FF DSLR body where there is full HD coming out of the HDMI socket during filming.
This fits in with other aspects of improved video perfromance we’ve heard of with the advent of DigicV
CR Updates about the new EF-S 15-60mm f/2.8 IS, It would have the same build quality of the current 15-85. Expected announcement Date May 2011.

At 15th Jan 2011 – Seems that if you search for ‘1Ds’ on the US Canon shop page, the results show the 1Ds3 listed as ‘not available’, along with the 1Ds and 1Ds2.
At 14th Jan 2011 – Sooner than we thought? The 1Ds3 vanishes from the Canon US site.
Note – it’s been suggested that the 1Ds3 is not actually sold on that particular page, so maybe a bit soon yet?
