Sony working on Fullframe Mirrorless camera lenses, as we all know Sony FE system cameras doesn’t have long telephoto Zoom lenses. As the Canikons have in their arsenal, so its nice see they working on to solve the issue and we will see new range of super-telephoto G-master lenses soon.
Sony 500mm and 600mm F4 Lenses from Patent Documents
Well a patent roughly take 2 or three years of time to become reality. So, we do hope these two lenses will become reality possibly in 2020. We will update you soon as we any new information.

Better late than never, 500 f/4 and an A9II would be sweet. Alternatively maybe Sigma can make a native FE mount version of their 500 f/4
Full MARKETING frame tele lenses are huge expensive and HEAVY!
Birders and others are finding similarly great results with the Zuiko 300mm f/4 at 1/3 the size/weight/cost of these CaNikSon behemoths.
Pedr, Nikon’s 300mm f/4 is smaller and lighter than that Zuiko. The E-M1 mk II with Zuiko 300mm f/4 is 434g (just south of a pound) HEAVIER than a Nikon D500 with 300mm f/4 PF.
