We have told you earlier, finally, Sony Sony Silently Announces Sony A7R IVA and Sony A7R IIIA Camer. Surprisingly they have updated the pro-grade cameras with a new LCD display unit and USB 3.2 compatibility. That’s all the updates we have on the new camera in the year 2021.
New Sony A7R IVA and Sony A7R IIIA Updated features
- Improved rear LCD panels, up to 2.36 million dots ( old 1.44 million dots)
- The battery life of the updated cameras has dropped (10 shots) when using the LCD panel.
- USB 3.2 Compatibility

Sony A7R series camera scheduled update time was 2021. But, the usual announcement of the A7R V camera with an upscaled core specification may cannibalize the sales of Sony’s recently announced Sony A71 camera. That’s why they have done just a minor upgrade to the A7R series camera this year.

please make the IBIS of the A7 series at least as good as the IBIS of the Canon 5R, as the current versions do not meet at all that of the competition.
I was triggered by your marketing campaign on this but when I see what the competion does , I am very, very disappointed to the degree that if this is not seriously improved I’ll quit Sony camera system.
