Sony A7R III have Better Dynamic Range Than Panasonic S1R

Latest test report coming from Photons to Photos suggest that Sony A7R III camera have better dynamic range than of Panasonic S1R. While comparing the images of the two, reviewers found that Sony A7R III has an average of 1/2 stop advantage across the range compared to Panasonic S1R.

    Are we quoting the same DxO Mark that found it’s own little OnePlus camera (used as an iPhone attachment) was a better sports camera than the Canon 1Dx or Nikon D4? …and found that its own little OnePlus was better for portrait photography than any of the Hasselblads? (hee, hee, hee)

    Your headline and therefore your assumptions are in error. This chart shows the Panasonic S1R versus the A7III not A7RIII, 48mp versus 24mp. Of course the dynamic range is better. Comparing apples to oranges.

    DxO is consulting company whose business in “consulting” other companies how to get DxO scores right, only silly people would trust their “scores”. Look at that piece of joke called OnePlus topping their scores?
