According to the latest rumor that the upcoming camera name will be called Sony A6100, despite of slight change in name the camera will get major hardware upgrade and will arrive with a completely new core specification compared to its predecessor, According to the sources of SAR website the upcoming camera will have a 36 MP APS-C sensor and if the news is true than Nikon should look for a better sensor for its Nikon D8XX series camera 🙂
The announcement date is still not know but we do believe that the camera may arrive at CES at January or CP+ show at February 2016.

Sony raised the price of their a6000 kit which came with a lens to 210mm maximum. Last summer this kit cost $800.00. Now it is over $1000.00. I think Sony decided to make as much money as they could before the new successor, 36 megapixels? And the price will most likely be over $1400.00. Sony is playing the big megapixels game right now. The latest DSLR mirrorless is a gigantic 42 megapixels. It seems to be working for them thus far. Remember 7 years ago. The Nikon D700 with barely over 12 megapixels reign supreme. Times are a changing.
36 MP seems far too much, and probably too noisy a pixel density for APS-C. Samsung stopped at 28 MP for a reason.
I thought the rumor was that the Fujifilm XPro2 was delayed because the A6XXX sensor was delayed? If the Fujifilm XPro2 is confirmed to have a 24.3MPix sensor is it not likely that so does the A6XXX?
