Nikon Firmware Update Nikon D6, Nikon Z50, and Nikon Z30 firmware update – They are adding up wireless security feature in this particular update, you have to reset your camera settings and then you will get an option to encrypt your images/password input if you wish to during wireless transfer, but when you will activate it it will slightly slow down the entire process.
How to Transfer your image fast
The best way is to connect your smartphone and camera with a USB cable, and directly transfer your images once the smartphone detects your camera. No need of encryption then since ur using wire transfer route and the entire process will be much faster compared to Wireless transfer.
Nikon has released a new firmware update, version 1.60, for the D6 DSLR camera. The main updates are as follows:
GNSS module firmware can now be updated.
Improved capture performance when using the specific area where the quasi-zenith satellite system “QZSS” can be captured.
Changed the default values displayed when wirelessly connecting to the following settings:
Encryption password
Password displayed after restoring camera default settings.
Nikon Z 50 firmware update version 2.51:
- Changed the default values for the following settings displayed when connecting wirelessly:
- Encryption keys
- The password displayed after the camera’s default settings are restored
Nikon Z 30 firmware update version 1.11:
- Changed the default values for the following settings displayed when connecting wirelessly:
- Encryption keys
- The password displayed after the camera’s default settings are restored
