Almost Confirmed: Nikon D800S Coming on June 26th, Nikon will announce its Nikon D800/E sucessor on June 26, 2014. The camera will feature same sensor as used in Nikon D800/E camera, New EXPEED 4 image processor and no optical low-pass filter, take a look at the rumored specification below
- 36MP sensor (possibly same as Nikon D800/D800E)
- No AA filter
- Improved software to suppress moiré
- Expeed 4 imaging processor
- one stop better ISO performance, thanks to the new image processor
- New higher resolution LCD screen
- sRAW and RAW
- Improved video modes
- Same AF improvements like in the D4s
- Built-in GPS
- No Built-in Wi-Fi
- Continuous shooting at 5 fps (6fps with the MB-D12)
The Nikon D800S price is rumored to be around $3,296.95, the camera be made in Thailand.
