Canon 5DS and 5DS R sensor is made by Canon itself confirmed by Canon’s Chuck Westfall in an recent interview by dpreview (below), he also added that 5DS and 5DS R have no improvement in dynamic range over the EOS 5D Mark III.

The 5Ds has the same pixel size as the 7D Mark II. That leads on the fullframe sensor to this big amount of pixels.
