Yesterday we talked about the Pentax K-5 Mark II camera, now we have some more info and images, Two new Pentax DSLRs are coming, the Pentax K-5 II and K-5 IIs, both the new camera will arrive with Pentax Q10 on Mid-October 2012, . The K-5 II Japanese price is expected to be ¥110,000 (approx $1,400) the K-5 IIs will cost around ¥120,000 (approx $1,500).
Pentax Q10 images surfaced over the web today, the Pentax Q10 is coming to replace Pentax Q (available at Amazon), specification is not out yet but the expected announcement date is mid-October 2012, available in silver, black and red color.
We have published the rumor few days ago [See here] that, Pentax is working on Pentax K-5 successor, a weatherproof 645D replacment, compact mirroless camera (Pentax Q10) and a 360 degree Digital camera. See more Pentax Rumors
I have no confirmation about this rumor, but if the rumors is true we will see Pentax K-5 Mark II at Photokina. A visitor from Germany posted upcoming pentax K-5 Mark II rumor on pentax forum, This new camera, he states, will replace the recently-discontinued Pentax K-5 (still available Amazon).

Overhauled SAFOX X AF system
with better accuracy and EV range than the previous generation
Improved firmware features

The Pentax K-3 DSLR will arrive with 24MP APS-C sensor according to latest rumors surfaced over the web, We have said earlier that Pentax K-3 is coming APS-C sensor and not a full frame, now more confirmations are coming via a Chinese source, its a Chinese camera gear site detail.zol which has a good past track record in accurately disclosing many early information. The website already have a full list of up-coming camera models and and a list of Chinese merchants who accept pre-ordering of the latest but not-yet-announced bodies, but no merchant is yet listed for the Pentax K-3 DSLR.
The upcoming pro-compact camera from Pentax is X-5, look same as its K-5 DSLR from outside, The camera rumored to features a 16 Megapixel CMOS sensor, 26X optical zoom lens and price is approx $400, available in Black and silver color. Expected announcement date – Photokina, September 2012.
Pentax New K-3 APS-C DSLR (yes its APS-C not full-frame) Rumor started at dpreviewforum, according to the forum member B&H staff told him that ” K-3 was being demonstrated to the sales staff today at B&H by Pentax”, If the rumor is true we may see the new K-3 flagship DSLR anytime soon.
Pentax K-5 is discontinued according to Yaotomi camera shop’s (Japanese) K-5 page, The shop says only limited stock is available since the production is stopped. But in Pentax Japan website there is no change, It says K-5 is still available / In-production.

Rumors are now started again about the Pentax Full Frame Camera, forum members of dchome (chinese website) talking about the upcoming Pentax Full Frame Camera specification and announcement date,
1. Pentax will make the world’s most compact Full Frame body which is to be marketed by March 2013;
2. The Full Frame camera will arrive in two body colors, black and in silver;
3. The New Pentax Full Frame will use upcoming Sony A99 24 Mp Full Frame Sensor, Same sensor is used in Rumored Nikon D600 Camera. According to the agreement between Sony and Pentax, Pentax can start using this new sensor 6 months after the a99 is announced.
4. A new FF kit zoom lens starting from 28mm wide angle;
5. Together with a new vertical battery grip;
6. And also a new flashgun unit, too!
7. To be sold at HK$22,000 for the body only (equals to US$2820);
8. Will be announced “soon” in September (at Photokina?).
If we look at previous Pentax Rumors, Pentax will announce three more DSLRs till March 2013, Pentax K-5’s replacement (coming on sep), a new mirrorless camera and a new Full Frame Camera.
