The New Pentax Compact Zoom Camera features 18X Zoom Lens and 16 megapixel CCD sensor, sensor-shift image stabilization, 9 AF points and 4cm macro shooting mode, the Pentax RZ 18 can record HD video in 720p at 30 frames per second.
About Auto Mode: The Optio RZ18 features the sophisticated Face Detection AF & AE function. This sophisticated feature instantly and accurately detects as many as 32 faces within the image field, then catches them in sharp focus and optimum exposure in a mere 0.03 seconds — even when some of the faces are tilted or turned away from the camera. Nikon will soon announce the Nikon V1 and Nikon J1 Compact Mirrorless camera, today Nikon Rumor leaked out the specification of the Up-Coming Nikon V1 and Nikon J1, according to Nikon Rumor both will look identical, except that one will have a self timer LED on the top right and different colors for the lens release button (one will be black, the other will be silver). Nikon V1 comes with a built-in high resolution EVF and will come in black and white. The Nikon J1 will not have an EVF and will come in 5 colors: red, pink, grey, white and black.
