Nikon DL Compact camera buying guide
For everyday shooters ‘Nikon DL 18-50mm is the best for you
If you ask me to choose the best camera among these three, I will pick the Nikon DL 18-50mm model. Why ? Since Nikon DL covers a very vital range that a professional photographer will ever need, gives you super speedy AF experience while delivering intense image quality under a tight and small compact body.
Nikon DL is world’s first compact camera to feature 18mm wide range by having such a large sensor inside it, the camera also touches 50mm range that is sufficient for shooting portraits with creamy background (yep F2.8, tele-end 50mm and a far scenery background will create some bokeh).
Best Camera for Travelographers – Nikon DL 24-500mm
The Nikon DL covers a very vast range and comes in big size tat will not going to fit inside your pocket, however despite of being big size the camera gives you class leading image quality, Blazing fast AF speed and a option to create 4K video on the go. A superb camera.. Believe me.
The Nikon DL 24-58mm camera – Best Pal for entry-level photographers
If you take very less wide-angle shots than 24-85mm camera is best for you. The DL 24-85mm will give you bit more zoom range while cutting out the wide range, however you can capture wide-angle family and friends shots 🙂 but you will feel limited when you will shoot landscape or architecture with DL 24-58mm camera.
APS-H one is the equivalent of a 51-megapixel sensor.

Samsung today announced new Samsung S7 ans S7 edge smartphones, before we begin I must tell you that both the device have same camera module.
The Samsung S7 become the world first smart phone to use the Dual Pixel CMOS AF technology after Canon DSLRs, currently Canon 7D Mark II, Canon 1DX Mark II and 80D using the same technology for auto-focusing, while live view shooting
A look back to Canon Dual-pixel CMOS AF Technology
What is actually Dual-pixel AF
Canon was the first company to introduce Dual-Pixel AF technology. Canon Dual-Pixel CMOS AF system is a complete breakthrough in the field of Auto-focusing technology. The Canon 70D announced on Jul 2, 2013 was the first camera that features Dual-Pixel CMOS AF technology.
The Dual-pixel CMOS AF Sensor features two photodiodes distributed to each microlens. As a result, two parallax images are captured at once. With Dual Pixel CMOS AF, the amount of lens drive is calculated from the amount of signal difference (amount of shift) in the AF points. When the signals of two photodiode are in agreement the Focus is achieved.
The Dual Pixel CMOS AF takes very shorter focusing times and gives you exceptional tracking performance and smoother autofocusing during video shooting.
Its no doubt that by reducing pixels the smartphone is now able to give next level of low-light performance and by adding the Dual-pixel CMOS AF the autofousing speed increased dramatically.
Samsung Dual Pixel AF Tech.
As you can see from the picture same as Canon the Samsung S7 and S7 edge camera modules do the same Job as Canon, the two sub-pixel inside senor work together to calculate the lens drive and acquire AF lock on subject.
Does Canon and Samsung Sony silently signed a Deal ?
Since the AF tech Samsung using is a patent technology of Canon See Dual pixel Patents here | here], and Samsung Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 edge use Sony IMX260 camera sensor according to sammobile website
But the best part is the camera module will soon spread over different devices, we will soon see affordable devices by having the same module.
Take a look at the videos:
The camera comes with a bright F1.7 lens to take awesome, even in low light. It also supports a Selfie Flash feature via AMOLED display of the phone as a camera flash when taking selfies.
