Panasonic G5 Coming Soon


Panasonic G5 will arrive in next few week or at May 21st, 2012 with 75mm F1.8 lens, Panasonic XZ-2 and LX-7 is also expected to arrive soon. Still we have no confirmed news but Panasonic G5 will use the same G3 16 Mp sensor with advance image processor.

According to 43 rumors Panasonic will announce a AG-AF camcorder on April 11th, From the rumor what does appear is the successor of Panasonic AG-AF105 camcorder, I think we have to wait a bit more for GH3 announcement.

According to Aleo Veulliah (dpreview member) that Panasonic GF5 is coming soon and Panasonic GH3 is  is expected to arrive at Photokina with new lenses. Photokina 2012 will be held in Cologne, Germany on 18-Sept-2012,

He also mentioned that Photokina this year will be important to Panasonic more than 2010 was, and that we might see besides the 12-35mm and 35-100mm f/2.8, another new zoom, he talked about a 45-300mm,

Olympus OM-D E 5 The rumored olympus OM-D E-M5 finally announced, the camera features 16-megapixel Live MOS image sensor, the OM-D offers continous shooting at 9 fps, the OM-D is equipped with the world’s first 5-axis image stabilization system,  OM-D is the first Olympus camera to feature a 3-inch tilting OLED touchscreen monitor.

The Olympus E-M5 is compatible with all Micro Four Thirds-compliant lenses, including two new lenses that Olympus will introduce later this year: the M.ZUIKO DIGITAL ED 75mm f1.8 and the M.ZUIKO DIGITAL ED 60mm f2.8 macro. Nikon V1 ISO Test

Before we start, a quick reminder  –  Nikon V1 and Nikon J1 features same 10.1 megapixel CMOS sensor and Expeed 3 dual core image processor (See Nikon V1 vs Nikon J1).

Nikon V1 ISO test is done by FOCUS NUMERIQUE, Nikon V1 different ISO result was compared with Nikon P7100, E-P3, G3, NEX-5.

Nikon V1 is showing noise even at base ISO, Nikon P7100 (compact camera) result are better compared to V1 at ISO 200.

At high sensitivity test (above ISO 800 to 6400) the Nikon V1 is doing much better than the Nikon P7100 and Olympus E-P3(m 4/3), but also shows lower performance compared to Panasonic G3 (m 4/3) and Sony NEX-5N (APS-C).
