According to latest rumors surfaced over the web, Canon 90D is rumored to feature 32.5MP APS-C CMOS sensor. So, most probably Canon 90D and 7D Mark III will be using the same 32.5MP sensor. Take a look at the rumored specification of the upcoming camera

Despite of having a 32MP sensor the camera is able to shoot 10frames per second which is really amazing. We do expect Canon will introduce 4K recording capability inside the Canon 90D camera. But the big question is, will it arrive with forced limitation and excessive crop factor, or we will have DPAF in 4K without any crop we don’t know yet.
The information is coming from a new source to take it with grain of salt

For me the Genotypic / Phenotypic natural evolution of the 7D2 after so many years, I think that they go from 5, it can not stay in the same ridiculous figure of 10f / s. After 7D3 nothing at all. An 80D much improved yes, but with that type sensor. The million dollar question: with the same to this day, or as the brilliant BSI of the competition.
Finally a step forward in the resolution!
32MP is a noticeable step ahead and should even on an APS sensor be usable.
I think AF will also be quite good. The 80D and the Eos M50 are quite useable and the 90D should be at least on par – likely even better since it is the second generation of Dual Pixel AF sensor.
It comes to no surprise that this camera is anounced just enough before the olympic games.
