Starting from the beginning of the year, we have added updates related to the DJI Action 7 and Osmo Nano 2 in that post. We have clearly mentioned that the scheduled launch time could be sometime in November 2026.
Now, going back to August 17, 2026, we got some prototype images of the Action 7 alongside the Nano 2. And that raised a lot of questions about the possibility of both these cameras arriving before the end of 2026.
The pre-November 11 launch window, and why it matters
Now we are getting some fresh updates, and that’s why I am publishing this article on my website. Following the appearance of these two cameras on August 11, 2026, the November 11 announcement claim was reported by Digicame-info, a Japanese website. It originally appeared on a Chinese account named Independent Photographers’ Union, which said that both cameras had entered the testing phase and could be announced before Singles’ Day. A post published on October 15, 2026, indicates that this claim originated from that Chinese account, which has also made some past predictions related to DJI products.
The most important part is that DJI launches its products on different timelines based on geographical factors. Announcements often start in China and later reach other markets at different intervals. After China, we have the Asian region, followed by the rest of the world. However, the United States is a different case, since no new DJI products requiring FCC authorization can receive new authorization under the current restrictions.
So yes, the November 11 date is important, but it is not backed by highly trusted sources like Igor or others. However, since the claim is now circulating and we are getting a lot of queries about this specific date, we have clarified the origin of the rumours. Japanese media subsequently covered the claim, and now it is circulating across the web.

Will it become available in the USA? That’s the biggest question, and we already know the answer.
Yes, sooner or later, it may become available through the grey market, as we have seen with the DJI Pocket 4P. Although it is not officially available in the United States, it is listed for sale on Amazon US. The Pocket 4 is also available through third-party sellers.
