October 7, 2025, Commack, NY – TAMRON announces the launch of the 70-180mm F/2.8 Di III VC VXD G2 (Model A065), a fast-aperture telephoto zoom lens for “Nikon Z mount system” full-frame mirrorless cameras on October 23, 2025. The lens will retail for $1,149 USD / $1,549 CAD. With this announcement of the Nikon Z mount, TAMRON expands the availability of the highly acclaimed 70-180mm F2.8 VC G2, previously announced in 2023 for Sony E-mount.

The new Sirui Aurora AF 35mm F1.4 lens will be released on October 9th, weighing just 490 grams and featuring a lightweight design. It utilizes three aspherical lenses, one SED (Super-Low Dispersion) lens, two ED (Extra-Low Dispersion) lenses, and one HRI (High-Refraction Index) lens. In addition to the FN, AF/MF, and CLICK ON/OFF basic buttons, it adds an aperture lock button and a lens hood lock button. The lens is available in Sony E, Leica L, Nikon Z, and Fujifilm X mounts, with all four mounts launching simultaneously!

Panasonic LUMIX mount! Bright Leaf Optics will launch two Panasonic LUMIX mount autofocus anamorphic widescreen cinema lenses, AF35mm T1.8 1.33X and AF50mm T1.8 1.33X, S35, weighing about 717 grams, priced at 4999. Previously launched for the Sony E mount, this time it’s for the Panasonic LUMIX mount, which can be installed on Panasonic LUMIX full-frame cameras and conveniently achieve autofocus functionality.
Upcoming Viltrox 50mm F1.4 PRO Lens
Overseas bloggers have revealed that they have received new Viltrox lenses and are recording review videos. Source of the camera beta (webio) speculates that one of them may be the AF 50mm F1.4 Pro full-frame lens. Viltrox’s high-end lenses usually come in black packaging. Based on previous leaks, the black packaging basically confirms the upcoming AF 50mm F1.4 Pro, which is expected to be released in October. It’s full-frame, with a launch price of only 2799 ($397 US dollars), weighs about 810 grams, has a 77mm filter thread, and a closest focusing distance of 0.45 meters.

Sony has announced the FE 100mm F2.8 Macro GM, a high-end full-frame macro lens with up to 1.4x reproduction, and upto 2.8x reproduction when paired with a teleconverter.
Pricing and Availability: The FE 100mm F2.8 Macro GM OSS will be available in November 2025 for approximately $1,499.99 USD and $1,799.99 CAD. It will be sold directly through Sony and at various Sony authorized dealers throughout North America.
