A high-speed version of the Z9 ( Z9H?) to compete against Canon R1 / R3 and Sony A9 III. According to our latest information, Nikon is working on a 20.4-megapixel sensor with a readout speed of 0.4 milliseconds. The sensor also can synchronize with a flash of up to 1/2000 sec. Right now, the prototype is almost ready to enter the production line. with a Dual Expeed 7 processor, (we know Expeed 8 is already there, but the model is being tested with Dual Expeed 7). We do not know under which model name the camera body may be released, but the expected timeline for the camera is around Q4 of 2024 and Q1 of 2025.
