TOO BAD ABOUT THE D850 MISSING AN BUILT IN FLASH.
IT COMES IN SO VERY HANDY WHEN NEEDED.
Jerome, looks to me that the D850 does have a built in flash
Henry, It has already been announced that there will not be an on-board flash. That leaves more real estate for possible EVF capabilities. I would only ever use a built in flash to trigger off-camera speedlights or strobes. I’d prefer to use a low power speedlight on the hot shoe in any case, and much prefer the electronic viewfinder possibilities.
The lack of flash prevent to change my D810 to D850. It is pity !
