Casio Exilim EX-FR10 - Advance Action and Sports Camera

Casio announces advance action and sports camera today that also features detachable camera unit, the camera can split up into two parts.. if the display system is your hand and the camera will work upto 10m away… images can be recorded remotely and monitored 2″ 230k-dot touch screen.

The Casio EX-FR10 is one step ahead of GoPro cameras since once you have adjusted the camera settings and attached it to your helmet, In-front of a bike or car…you can’t change the setting, but the EX-FR-10 remote display system will allow you to select your desired setting anytime you want.


The camera features a 14 Megapixel 1/2.3-inch CMOS sensor attached with a 21mm F2.8 wideangle lens and the Autofocus system uses traditional contrast detect method, the camera records Full HD videos. The FR10 comes with a weather sealed design that protects your camera from water upto 1m for 30 minutes and 2m drop-resistant.

You have to pay approx $480, £290 and €365 to buy this camera … currently available in JAPAN only.

Casio EX-FR10 and EX-FR10CT Image Leaked


The recently Leaked images of Casio EX-FR10 and EX-FR10CT shows a new type of compact camera system. The first part – Casio EX-FR10 is lens and sensor (like Sony smart lens The QX100 and QX10 lens) and the EX-FR10CT is the display part, the Casio EX-FR10 will sync with your smart-phone via NFC and enable remote shooting, however EX-FR10CT is also available  for those who want to buy the display separately.

Casio Computer Co., Ltd. announced today that it will release its new flagship EXILIM compact digital camera, the EX-10, on November 29. The newest addition to the EXILIM family boasts the world’s first dual-combination bracketing function. With a single touch of the shutter button, nine photos are captured in a high-speed burst for a unique pair of parameter values for focus, aperture, white balance, exposure, among others. Now anyone can take high-quality photographs just like the professionals without complicated adjustments.

The new EX-10 includes the following features:

The world’s first dual-combination bracketing function. The “Auto Bracketing” function automatically varies a pair of shooting parameters over three steps, producing a matrix of nine images to choose from. The “Manual Bracketing” function enables users to explore the settings of each parameter manually.
28mm wide angle zoom lens with a maximum aperture of f1.8 (wide-end): This powerful lens is able to maintain a high resolution even at its peripheries.
1/1.7-inch Back-lit CMOS image sensor: The expanded size of the image sensor is optimized for high-speed burst photography. The improved sensitivity increases the amount of light that can be received, while the back-lit system more effectively directs light to the sensor’s surface.

Casio EX-ZS15

The new Casio EX-ZS15 features 14.1 Mp Sensor, 26mm wide-angle lens with 5x optical zoom, 3.0″ touch-screen with the Touch Shutter and HD movie recording (1280 x 720). The Touch Shutter function allows the user to focus on an area or subject on the screen and capture the photo just by touching the screen. Saved images can also be viewed by simply flipping through pages of images displayed intuitively on the screen. The EX-ZS15 also features Best Shot Mode, which optimizes photo settings by just selecting for the type of scene the user wants to photograph and face detection.The EX-ZS15 is available now in three colors: silver, red and black.
