Canon R7 Overheating test done by Josh Sattin, the test was done in North Carolina is a state in the Southeastern region of the United States. According to the reviewer, the temperature outside was 90 degrees Fahrenheit – 32.22 celsius. So, if ur are in the Asian region or near to earth’s equator then you have to be more careful.
The camera was set on 7k Oversampled mode / 4K Fine recording at 24fps and recorded video up to 1 Hour and 1 Minute before the shutdown. Although I am really impressed to see that the Camera is able to run for more than 1 hour in direct sunlight @ 90 degrees Fahrenheit

So sad that a budget R7 can show how pathetic the R5 is at almost 3x the price. Good effort from Canon on the R7 overall, but to me it’s an R9 and they need a serious flagship APS-C, like the Fuji X-H2s. Also hate the back layout on the R7, why they changed a proved formula on the R6/R5, even R10 is better IMO.
