The Samsung 60mm f/2.8 Macro ED OIS SSA Lens (For Samsung NX Cameras) is a fast f/2.8 macro lens for NX cameras (NX10 and NX100) that’s capable of 1x magnification. Because it’s an i-Function lens, you can access manual settings such as shutter speed and aperture right on the lens–no need to take your hand off the lens, or your eye off the action. A built-in optical image stabilizer eliminates camera shake for low-light photos (especially important when shooting extreme close-ups, where every little tremor will show). A supersonic actuator delivers fast, silent and precise auto focusing, and with full-time manual focus in AF mode, you’ll always have sharp focus exactly where you want it. This lens is designed for use with NX mount cameras–the NX10 and NX100.

Samsung showed future NX system plans at a korean presentation, Key Points of the presentation:
1. The NX line will have three categories NX Style, NX Classic and NX Classic+
1.1) NX Style: Light weight / compact and Design oriented. – ->NX100
1.2) NX Classic: Conventional SLR type for enthusiast users –> NX10, NX11
1.3) NX Classic+: High Performance SLR (Maybe a Full Frame Sensor camera?) made for advanced users. –> DSLR To be announced soon.

New Samsung NX11, New Camera added to the NX System camera. The Samsung NX11 has a 14.6 megapixel APS-C CMOS sensor, ultra compact body with refined grip. The NX11 is a upgraded model based on the NX10, compatible with the new i-Function lens, introduced for the NX100. The NX11 will come complete with an 18-55mm i-Function lens, as well as two new i-Function lenses, a 20mm pancake and a 20-50mm zoom silver colour lens, The NX11 also features panorama mode, which allows the user to take panoramic pictures in one press-and-sweep motion. The NX11 also provides video with 720p HD recording(using H.264 codec). The Samsung NX11 will hit the US market in February 2011.
