Fuji GFX50S is the name of recently announced mirrorless medium format camera of Fuji. Fuji cut down the mirror to make the camera size more compact and portable as well as to stop the 15% resolution loss caused by the Mirror. After evaluating all the possible consequences they have decided to make a Mirrorless Medium format camera.
Size Matters
The Fuji GFX50S Sensor size is 1.7X larger than the current Fullftame cameras like Canon 1DX Mark II and Nikon D5 and approx 4times more than APS-C Sensor based Camera.
Fuji Made Sensor
As many websites (including us) were speculating that Fuji will use same sensor as of Pentax 645Z or Hasselblad X1D (both camera shares same Sony made 50 MP FF Sensor), but Fuji surprised us when they said the Sensor is completely new and made by Fuji engineers.
Extensive Control
The Fuji GFX 50S is offering extensive control just like a bigger version of Fuji X-Pro2 camera.
