The new Sony A99 looks impressive on paper, but it’s going to be very difficult to make me buy a camera that has almost the same features as the Nikon D600 (and same sensor), and Canon 6D for 1000 Euro more.
What is Sony thinking ? Any real photographer doesn’t care about the gadgetry onboard Sony cameras, we just care about little details like image quality, focus, sharpness, color rendering, correct WB and so on. Only consumers must have stuff like GPS and so on, sensible people just need a good camera.
So, it’s a definitive no go for 3000 Eur. Also add to the equation the poor choice of lenses for Sony FF cameras compared to Nikon and Canon (hence more expensive) plus the bad reputation of after sales services of an consumer electronics giant like Sony and you’ll understand why this camera is a joke at this price.
Hey Sony, sell it for 1500 Euro and I’ll go with you !
