Hiroyuki Sasa in an interview with a Japanese news agency said Olympus has received offers of forming a capital alliance from both Sony and Fujifilm, but declined to comment further.
Hiroyuki Sasa also said “We would like to narrow down our [imaging business] portfolio” by doing so “we can make the business fully profitable.” Olympus plan to continue and develope its mirrorless series of cameras with new features and competitive price range.
