  The “samples” you show are the same ones as every other website (the likes of dpreview = amazon) and they come directly from Nikon.

  These are marketing images, not what I would consider real life samples. They might not have been edited (although who can be sure), but they certainly don’t represent a good judging platform to spend 2100 $ + lenses…

  I’ve seen other shoot (not sponsorised by Nikon) on pixelpeeper or flickr, and what I saw is pretty scary.
  They were taken with the d600 and new 24-85. Some of them are just terrible: CA, banding, bad WB, bluish or yeloowish greenish over-saturation, total lack of details in shadows or destructed shadows, wrong constrats, etc… I hope that the photographer was just bad or was just cleaning its gear before the real shooting, but since then, it’s wait and see before getting robbed of 2100 $ + lens for a result closer to a compact than a FF camera.
