Nikon finally announced its latest AF-S DX Nikkor 16-80mm F2.8-4E ED VR lens for those users who want to get the experience of highly capable wide-angle zoom lens. It is the first time Nikon has used the advanced Nano Crystal Coating and an electromagnetic diaphragm in a DX lens.
The lens supports a popular, wide 24-120mm (FX-format equivalent) focal range, through which the users can shoot different varieties of shooting like the wide-angle landscapes, tight portraits and is just like all features in one lens.
Its fast aperture of 16-80mm supports the users to blur the background to produce the separation between subject and background.
The company has used the Vibration Reduction (VR) image stabilization technology to increase its low-light capability and it also offers 4 stops of image stabilization to produce sharp and perfect images even in poor light condition.
It also supports a minimum focus distance of 1.2 ft/37 cm throughout its focal range, and hence offers 4 extra stops of handheld shooting to its VR stabilization.
The lens is made up of 17 elements in 13 groups and seven –blade aperture backed with the Silent Wave Motor technology for fast, accurate and better performance of its AF system.
The Nikon AF-S DX Nikkor 16-80mm F2.8-4E ED VR will be available from this month at the cost of $1069.95.
