I was waiting for this camera. But, I’m not happy with design of EVF. It does not protrude well enough, and as a left eye shooter, it forces me to squash my nose against LCD, causing skin infections on my knob. This is what I get from all Fuji cameras, except GFX 50s with fantastic detachable EVF.
Grip is stupidly small, it’s not a small or light camera and I agree about the EVF. Maybe they think you’ll use your right eye and keep your nose off to the left of the EVF.
Many photogs are left eye dominant. Some of them have too weak right eye. And, often in glasses. This is why RF style camera is the only choice. SLR style EVF is absolutely not practical. And in case if small cams like Fuji X-T line, or Sony A7 & 9, it’s terribly frustrating in use. Mind . . poking fingers into your right eye, or smearing glasses. I’m shooting with X-Pro2, it’s way better ergo than X-T2, but still, there is no eye relief for shooters in glasses, EVF magnification is rubbish, I have to press my glasses into camera very hard to see. Still, I can’t see the whole frame in EVF. And, I still get skin infections on my knob, regardless of regular disinfection of LCD. I wish, EVF protrude more, so i don’t have to thrust my face into camera so hard.
