It looks like someone is testing out the next Avata drone in the wild. We are getting different names for that Avata 3 or DJI 360, since the design of the drone matches with Avata, with new style of camera setup, it looks like a completely new type of prototype from DJI. Even as we have previously published the DJI 360 drone, after a long-term discussion with our website editors, we have compared the previous leaked images of the Avata 3 drone. We are very much sure it’s the Aata series drone
Latest Leaked Images of the DJI Avata 3
Now we have the recent images from the Chinese regional websites of what appears to be a prototype of DJI. As usual, before the announcement, DJI does rigorous testing of their product. The drone is very compact and cinewhoop-style frame; at a glance, it looks very much similar to its predecessor, the Avata 2, but as you guys may have noticed, the new image shows a heavy and large gimbal size in the leaked image compared to what we have in the Avata 2.
To get a clear view, we have further upscaled the images with the help of the available set of AI tools we have. While upscaling the image, it clearly shows a 360-degree style camera on the top of the gimbal. Now that really sparks a debate whether it’s truly the DJI Avata 3 or maybe an entirely new model, which may look like the DJI Avata series but it’s a 360 drone, or better to say it’s a new DJI 360 drone.

The pic above you see, contains both the un-enhanced original image in the inset, and the enhanced pic shows a 360 camera in the gimbal.
Now, in one more shot, we can clearly see the DJI controllers. It suggests that it does have obviously seamless connectivity or compatibility with its existing ecosystem as well as to give users a FPV-style experience.

I REALLY hope they will be releasing the Avata 3 without a 360 camera… it will be a huge fail to make an FPV camera 360, it totally negates the point of flying manual.
