What I hope could have been better in E-P3? Read this review at robinwong.blogspot.com and see sample images taken by the new Olympus E-P3 camera
1, Longer battery life For an advanced camera, the battery life is unacceptably short. On average, I could produce 350 shots with a single fully changed BLS-1, and that is NOT sufficient for my photography needs.
2. Tilt or Swivel Display Screen I shoot a lot of low angle and high angle shots and I really appreciate the flexibility of the dual axis swivel screen display of my E-5.
3. Larger grip for handling. Shooting whole day with the default supplied grip, I did feel strains on my wrists especially when I was handling larger lenses like the 75-300mm.
Olympus E-P3 canon shoot Full HD and HD videos @ 60fps, If we compare from E-P2 the focusing speed increased upto 40%, New features also include OLED Touch display and 10 amazing Art filters.
DxOMark Lab tested the sensor of new Sony NEX C3 camera, This sensor is a newly developed 16.2 megapixels APS-C dubbed “Exmor” that has long been rumored to be the same as the one powering the acclaimed Sony A580 and the Pentax K5. In theory, we should get the same IQ as the aforementioned DSLRs with just an entry-level camera. Let’s see if this is the case…
Sony NEX C-3 vs Sony A580 vs Pentax K5 vs Nikon D7000: is it really the same sensor?
The scores say no, but our measurements loudly say yes, this is the same sensor but it has been tuned differently:
Strangely, the lowest ISO available on the NEX C3 is a mere ISO 200, this limitation does not allow the user to take full advantage of the built characteristics of this sensor in Low-ISO.
Not being able to go further down than ISO 200 explains the difference in scores as far as dynamic range and color sensitivity are concerned.
On the other hand the Sony NEX C3 should be able to provide the same Image Quality scores in High ISO (the lowlight ISO Score is of 1083).
