Nikon J1 vs Nikon J2 Specification Comparison review, both the camera have almost same specification, read the review and share your thought with us.
All the major specification of both the camera is same except the LCD display resolution, the New Nikon 1 J2 features higher resolution LCD having 920,000 screen dots and Nikon J2 having lower resolution LCD with 460,000 screen dots.
New features in Nikon J2
New LCD Display: Same size but more resolution, the new J2 features Fixed 3″ TFT LCD with 920,000 screen dots.
Creative Mode: The new Creative Mode accessible from the Mode Dial. When in Creative Mode, photographers will be able to take advantage of several shooting modes including Panorama, Selective Color, Miniature, Soft, Night Landscape, Backlighting and Night Portraits.
Metallic camera body: The New Nikon 1 J2 will sport a metallic camera body, and enhanced grip design.

Nikon finally announces the rumored Nikon J2 mirrorless camera, the camera is almost same as Nikon J1 camera, the J2 comes with a high resolution screen and with some new features similar to Nikon’s Coolpix compacts camera.
 The Nikon J2 is available for sale from September 2012, priced at US$550 in a kit 10-30mm lens, Body colors include White, Black, Silver, Pink, a deeper Red color, and a new Orange variant.
New 11-27.5mm f/3.5-5.6 Lens
With Nikon J2 Nikon also announced the new Nikon 1 system 11-27.5mm F/3.5-5.6 Lens, it gives you approx 2.5X optical zoom in a compact size, an ideal lens family vacation. The lens is compatible with the Nikon J2, Nikon V1 and Nikon J1 camera.

Nikon has also announced the addition of a new accessory to the Nikon 1 System, one that will allow users to use their Nikon 1 cameras to use underwater without any problem, New WP-N1 underwater case that can easily house your 10-30mm lens with J2 or J1 mirrorless camera.
The case is waterproof up to 40 meters (approx. 131 feet), but the price of WP-N1 underwater case is more than the camera, you have to pay $749.95 for it and available from September.

 Based on latest rumors from NR the Nikon is ready to update its coolpix line with a bit of surprise, Nikon will announce a android based S800 camera with the following specification

- The camera runs all Google Play apps
- The camera will probably run Android 2.3
- Built-in GPS
- Built-in Wi-Fi
- Possible announcement: August 22, 2012
Nikon will also update its Nikon P7000 flagship compact camera and we will also see some regular update on affordable range, the new flagship name is not confirmed but it may called Nikon P7200, It is expected to arrive with a better CMOS sensor and 28-200mm f/2-4 lens.
