Optics are usable, but not as great as we usually see in Canon’s lenses. However, at this price point, expecting high-grade optical performance from this lens is not realistic. At 75mm, the lens performs exceptionally well; however, as you zoom in to 300mm, the optical performance begins to degrade slightly. So this is the sort of lens we have, and it is just a mirrorless version of the ultra-popular 75-300mm DSLR lens.
