Many dealers have said that they are sure not to release it in May.
period =its month =July 2024
Update: Shipping from July
That’s all the update we have related to the Nikon Z6 Mark III
— ENd of rumor —
Nikon Z6 III Got Wireless Certification in January month and as usual Camera makers take roughly 3 Months of time of release their registered product, but Nikon Z6 III has now registered for more than three months, Let’s hope to see the camera on or before July 2024.
Update: Nikon Z6 III shipping will start from July 2024
I can confirm that it’s not coming in May, as I am part of a retailers’ network and there is no chatter about the Nikon Z6 Mark III
Nikon has had the Z6 III and Z7 III ready since September of last year, with everything completed, including a 3-month test phase for both cameras, sample shoots, etc. Due to the high sales of the Nikon Zf and Z8 bodies, Nikon postponed the announcement of the Z6 III, which was originally planned for April 2024. The next date is not exactly in July, as they are also waiting for the arrival of the R6 Mark III and A7 V to make last-minute tweaks before finalizing the core specs of the camera.
I hope this clears the situation
pls Nikon give us 4k60fps uncropped this time, even Canon R8 is doing this
Agree with @AMy you can see a good reason to delay the announcement of Nikon Z6 III and Z7 III, sales of Z8 and ZF really going very well

@AMy if Nikon registered the Z6III in January, how is the camera ready since September last year? ??♂️
In fact, strictly speaking, it is considered a postponement.
I’m not a marketing specialist, but I don’t beleive this strategy make sence. Z6II is totaly different type of camera in comparison with Z8. Smaller, lighter, smaller resolution, but still with all professionals functions. Zf is more for passionate amateurs. I know few people who switched to Sony, just because Nikon doesn’t listen us/them. Me personally I have been waiting for two years for Z6III. Starting to be little bit tired also 🙁
@Roger1
Registration is done just before the official release
Z7 III official samples posted by Nikon Chinese social media last year
@AMy why dont you open a camera news website and twitter handle to post these things, if you know so much
@AMy Sony A7V is not coming before 2025 at the earliest. I don’t think Nikon is waiting until then to release the Z6III
Nikon will release their annual results tomorrow Thursday, is already May 9 in Japan atm. After that, we can expect an announcement. I hope they release the 6 and 7 at the same time.
@Roger1
Today, Nikon Rumors has indeed confirmed what I previously mentioned. The Nikon Z6 III and Z7 III are ready for release. However, due to the high demand for the Nikon Zf and Z8 models, the announcement of the Z6 III, initially scheduled for April 2024, has been postponed.
As for the Sony A7V, it’s set to launch in the fourth quarter of 2024. Initially, Sony engineers anticipated that Canon would use their older 45MP sensor in the R6 III. This led to plans for the 2025 A7V model to feature a 42.2 MP Full-Frame Back-Illuminated CMOS sensor, 8K video recording, and an AI chip. However, now that we know the Canon R6 III is equipped with a 24MP Stacked CMOS sensor, Sony is considering an early release of the A7 V with an AI chip in late 2024. Remember, you heard it here first!
