Olympus registered a new camera at Taiwan wireless certification agencies, the code name of the camera is IM008. Take a look at the details below

The Olympus E-M5 Mark II was announced on May 12, 2015. So its almost more than two years completed and we do expect Olympus E-M5 Mark III from Olympus this year or may be at the beginning of 2018.
Update – The registered model code was of the Olympus E-PL9 camera. The Camera Olympus E-M5 mark II no details available yet and we will update ypu soon as we get any new information.

But the battery is BLS-5
The battery is about the only detail available and it’s not much to go on. The BLS-50 is a later version of the BLS-5. They’re interchangeable. This battery fits the Pen range of cameras and the Stylus 1/1s.
I think I’m correct in saying that the E-M5ii uses the BLN-1 battery (also used in the E-M1 & E-M5). Unless Olympus have changed this arrangement the new camera is unlikely to be the E-M5iii. However we’ll have to wait and see.
