According to latest rumor surfaced over the web the upcoming Olympus E-M1 II camera is rumored to features 4K video mode inside it. The camera announcement is expected to hit the world on photokina 2016.
So if we combine all the rumored specification we got till now we get the following figure

I AM A PROUD OWNER OF E-M1 II BUT,
As we know that the Olympus OMD E-M1 announced announced 2 years ago on a Photokina event. uses Olympus home grown PDAF M4/3 sensor with 81 Built-in Phase AF points and 37 Contrast detect AF points. With the help of a total of 118 AF points the Olympus E-M1 does a blazing fast AF and lock down subject in no time.
The Olympus E-M1 II rumor is not new and I am reading information from past few months that Olympus may use Sony made IMX 269 sensor that features 20 Megapixel resolution. But the biggest drawback of IMX269 sensor of Sony that it’s a contrast detect sensor, No phase AF points fabricated inside the IMX269 so if upcoming Olympus E-M1 II uses the same sensor the next Olympus flagship will go a step-behind compared to the current E-M1 camera.
IMX269 already in use – Panasonic GX8 uses the Sony made 20.3MP Digital Live MOS Sensor, to combat the slow AF the camera uses a dedicated DFD AF system and with the help of that the camera AF speed reaches 0.07 sec.
But, I don’t think that Olympus will use a contrast sensor for it’s upcoming flasghsip camera.
They are full capable to develop Hybrid sensor or otherwise they can buy Hybrid sensor from Aptina, Sony or Toshiba.
