Canon latest patent surfaced over the web that shows a 50mm F1.4 Lens, 55mm F1.4 lens and 35mm F1.4 lens. All these lenses patent showing large aperture ring and internal focus motor, a clear indication that all these lenses will arrive under L series branding.
We have already seen that recently announced Sigma ART series lens surpassed the optical quality of Canon 50mm L Lens (see here), now its look like Canon is ready for the battle and will update and introduce its new series of prime L lenses with advance optics and improved cores specification.
