One of the most important and noticeable thing with Sony RX10 IV camera is the introduction of new hybrid BSI CMOS sensor that enables 315 phase detector points within the sensor.
it is really one of the biggest advantage of Sony rx10 4 camera, since the predecessor were limited to contrast detect AF system only.
Installation of new hybrid sensor increases the focusing a speed of RX10 IV camera 2X even while creating a shooting video. Sony claims that the recently announced Sony rx10 4 camera features world fastest autofocusing speed of 0.03 second.
New features are also introduced such as Focus limiter / AF-on/ Touch Focus and High density focus.
The continuous shooting speed of the camera. Now the Sony rx10 4 camera can shoot 24 frames per second with continuous autofocus and AF tracking support. wheread the predecessor Sony rx10 III camera was limited to 10 frames per second only. it is clearly one of the biggest advantage of the recently announced RX series camera you get 14 extra frames per second which is really insane.
Finally Sony RX10 IV camera also features 4K video capability whereas the X10 III & II was limited to full HD mode. One of the biggest advantage as we have already discussed above is the introduction of hybrid auto focusing system inside the RX series camera and hence you get 2x more autofocusing speed while creating a video which is clearly one of the biggest advantage of this model.
