If you consider the last two announcements of the Fuji XT series cameras, you can see that Fuji is taking more than 33 months to update each of its latest models. So, it’s very clear that if Fuji stays on its current schedule, we will likely see the next Fuji X-T6 camera sometime in June-Aug 2025.
As of October 2025, there is still no sign of the Fuji X-T6’s arrival
Its a very clear indication that Fuji has delayed its announcement cycle. Fuji is NOT going according to their traditional announcement pattern of their Flasghip Fuji XT Series cameras. as per the latest rumors, As per latest rumors Fuji X-T30 III is coming in October 2025, and Fuji X-T6 is now delayed and expected for 2026.

It bit of simple logic that if Fuji will put more res to X-H3 (as fuji rumor said near about 80MP) then for sure the announcement of X-T6 will be further delayed to 2027, since We have seen the patterns of announcement of Fuji from past 15 Years, they do give a wide space to sales period, which is about 8 to 12 months.. in 2026 we may have Only two camera with Highr Res Sensor from Fuji- the XPRO 4 OR 6 with bit wired display and less video centric made for street shooters and X-H3, thats two update we are expecting for now
