We do know Canon XC-15 is an excellent camera, but the camera remains limited to a certain consumer base due to the fact that many people including cinematographers out there believe the small 1-inch sensor and the 15 8.9 – 89mm Zoom Lens with f/2.8 – f/5.6 aperture limit their creativity.

Although the patent isn’t new, we have already discussed this patent back in 2018. The reason behind this post is that Canon is still working over this patent. And there is still a strong possibility that we will see a Canon XC Style Mirrorless Camera with RF-Mount.
