Canon announced the R5 Mark II camera today. The camera features a 45-megapixel stacked CMOS sensor and a continuous shooting speed of 30 frames per second with the help of an in-body image stabilization (IBIS) sensor. The readout speed of the new R5 Mark II camera has been significantly improved, and now it’s possible to capture almost rolling shutter-free images at up to 30 frames per second.
On the video side, we can record videos up to 8K at 60 frames per second. With a new battery grip specifically designed with cooling vents, you can shoot 8K videos as well as 4K videos until your card runs out.

We got a R1 that is more like a R3 Mark II and a R5 Mark II with all the specs the R5 should have four years ago. Beside an BSI sensor with no Blackout, no overheating and again not perfect images again with the electronic shutter. No improvement for photographers and again a lousy battery life. What the hell has Canon done in the last years?
